I have bought a non running 1987(?) Seiko Sports 100.
Gold on Black with day and date at 3 Hr and stem/crown at 4 Hr.
The movement is badly corroded and the case back is blued adjacent to the battery.
So I am thinking of replacing the original 6923A with a 7N33 but as they aren't exactly alike I wondered whether I can make a 7N33 fit?

here is what I have found after a bit of trial an error.
7N33 needs
a case ring
hand sizes 110/65/21
Battery 371
tap size 11

In my case I also need gold plated hands and a stem/crown
Hr 1AE070LABDG
Min 2AE100LABDG
Seconds 3AA125F1ANG
Crown 8M35A0NNG2
Stem 0351892

I managed to work this out by fitting a Hattori VX33E which became a bit of a dogs breakfast as it needs a different second hand which I borrowed from a 6319A as it is a 20 as opposed to a 21 on the 7N33.

I am now trying to work out how to order all the 7N33 parts including the movement from Cousins here in the UK.
