Hi Jeremy:
I owned my Citizen Grand Complication for about 5 months. Loved the watch but sold it to help finance my incoming Seiko Ananta Automatic Chronograph. It was a solid watch, extremely well made and accurate to boot. If the opportunity presents itself, I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Since you have a concern regarding resale value.... They are not many of them in the sales forums and I was able to sell mine for very close to what I originally paid for it.
Citizen is really controlling the production, sale and distribution of the Signature Collection series. Seiko has taken similar steps with their high end Ananta line.
Go for it. Eco-Drive technology, minute repeater, perpetual calendar, dual time, 1/4 sec 12 hour chrono, exquisite finishing (The dial is a work of art), nearly invisible double AR coated sapphire crystal, impeccable case/bracelet/clasp design and 5 year Citizen warranty, what is not to love?
