Hi all,

Would like to know if anyone has techniques or methods to remove and reinstall the Diashock shock springs found in the Seiko 7s26 movement.

I had no problems with the older triangular Diashocks found in the 7006 which i bought.

Pictures would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have done a few but not found an easy way.
I manipulate the spring ends into the gaps, slide one tab so that it is just in its groove, then put gentle pressure on the spring (hopefully both ends if I can manage it) and then with fine point tweezers try to slide the other tab into its groove, without dislodging the other end.
This fails more times than it succeeds but it eventually works.
I would be very happy to learn of a more successful method.
