Hello everyone,
I have just bought a new SKZ211J1 Sports Diver Automatic watch and I bouhgt it off Ebay. My last Seiko was bought from the high street and I was warey of buying through Ebay but couldn't find this model for sale anywhere else.
The watch is lovey and I am oping it is 100% genuine Seiko but the I do not know how to check. I have compared to my other watch and it looks and feels ok but I would love to be sure. Does anyone know how to check? The only number I can find stamped on the watch is on the back of the case and is 800020.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks, James

do you have a picture of it?
since it is a J1, it is a Japan model. Does it says made in Japan somewhere in the dial?

I don't think there are fake SKZ211J1's out there.

If 800020 is the only numbe there, it's not good...

There should also be a caliber-case number there. 7s36-01E0

Thanks,

there is a number on the back of the watch - 7s36-01E0.
I'll try to upload some photos too.

I believe that is called the Seiko Atlas. Looks good to me but there are plenty of pictures out on the internet for you to compare to. I doubt there are any fakes of this model, but if there were, they would be pretty obvious or have mismatched Seiko parts.
