Wow! What a great forum...can't believe the info that is here. I have a rookie question for anyone of you. I was given an original (meaning probably never serviced) Seiko 6306-7001. I have worn it for years now and it always lost a few minutes a week even with daily wearing. Lately it stops a few hours after being put down, and loses nearly an hour even while being worn. This bothers me greatly as I can't imagine having another watch. This is the one I plan on being barried with.

I am curious as to how to find a reputable service for my watch. I don't want to just hand it over to a random stranger who will part out my beauty and hand me a hollowed out replica when finished.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the greeting and very useful links spring-diver. I'll be doing some research now that I have a direction to go on. -much appreciated!

I don't have any specific shots of my 6306 Harry, but will get right on it as soon as I free up some time here shortly.

Once again thanks. TC
