Hello everyone, just joined tonight. Am very new to watchbuilding and so far am enjoying the challenge.
Had an old Swiss watch lying in a drawer for 20 odd years which was the wife's grandfather's, a "Sully Watch" Chronometer with a Landeron 51 movement, which was in pretty good condition but not working. Stripped and cleaned it (u-tube), re-built it (u-tube), put on a new strap and hey presto, it works and keeps pretty good time. Now i've got the bug.
Bought a Seiko7S26 on E-bay, not bad condition but not running very well. Stripped, cleaned, re-built and serviced and well polished. Looks a million dollars, cost 20 :). Now I've got the Seiko bug. Bought a Bellmatic yesterday.

Wow, you are jumping right in! Bellmatics are wonderful and you are running right down a rabbit hole.
