Maybe the movement is dead, into a "long term project drawer" it will go, I'm very patient maybe cleaning and lubing will be enough.

Good luck I hope it works out for you, parts are a pain to get for the 7c43 and you can buy some of the parts new but they aren't cheap at all. For that price I would stick with a 7548 which are super reliable and easy to get parts for it but that just my own opinion of course.Maybe the movement is dead, into a "long term project drawer" it will go, I'm very patient

I have a working movement, face and hands for that case. Not doing another 7C43 project for a while now, too much stress, too much money

It hasn't arrived yet, still waiting for the snail mail, and I am a little nervous it'll be a lot worse than imagined. Everything will go in to the case regardless. That's all I'm saying for now
