I reckon you did ok. I moved on a good condition but in need of a service stainless example similar to this one for about $100 on eBay (completely up front about its stopping and starting and need of a service). Polish that crystal (or replace it) and it'll look 100% better. Hopefully the odd looking seiko on the dial is only a result of distortion from the scratches crystal.

Whether you did ok or not depends on whether the price plus repair costs are more than the watch is worth to you I guess. Good luck.

Maybe the alarm indicator is faded..

In this model, from what i've seen one the internet it should have a swoosh or a tiny triangle. Here's two examples:

One thing .. Bellmatics don't 'wind' .. Winding the crown winds up the alarm and won't get the watch going. Apart from the terrible photos the watch looks OK and probably a 27j model. There is a decent chance it will work with a few shakes..

Buff (it shouldn't need replacing) the glass and sand/buff the case and add a strap and you're half way to a nice watch.

If it goes ok its a winner:)
