Quick and Dirty, Noah's UDT "Stealth" is perfect, I would not change a thing, except perhaps to get another one...

Man, I can't help drooling over your Tsunami, Dave. I can't wait to have mine on the wrist......I have been waiting for this watch for a long time....
So what options did/will you choose, Chris? ;D
Hey Chris, yeah, waiting is the roughest part of it all. As long as its coming, something to look forward to.

I look forward to your unveiling when yours arrives, and so far always pleasantly surprised. I've seen 6 in the wild so far on different sites. Never the same. Always one detail different.

This is the first time I seen the froggy caseback. I also liked the pvd version more than I thought.

I hope there will be enough around to have a tsunami club here. ;) Thats why I made the tsunami club card in my sig. I need to make one for the froggy, but need a good shot as I don't have this logo on mine.

Cheers, Dave.

6309-XW all the way, my friend! Exactly like Dave's, but with SKX007 hands and crown style. Essentially, teh very 6309-7040 that would be released today by SEIKO, if they would decide to launch a reissue version, a la CITIZEN and the aqualand classic.

Noah hit the bull's eye with this watch, I'll tell you that. Screw the purists! :p
ah, back to basic and classic look then.....I would opt for the black stealthy PVD myself haha! 8)
What a beauty...too bad my money tree isn't in bloom right now.
Here is a picture of the "Froggy" back.

That's an interesting comparison shot. For some reason I had assumed that the Tsunami was bigger than the original, but that picture seems to suggest otherwise. Perhaps it was just the height that I was thinking of...
That looks quite abit beefier than the 6309 its "based" on!
Though I'm generally a sucker for an all-black watch, since the case has a vintage style, on this one I would rather have it in regular SS.
