FS: Vintage 1969 Bulova Oceanographer Snorkel 666 ft. $535

FS is Bulova Oceanographer Snorkel 666 ft. diver. Marked M9 (1969). No blemishes of significance. Bakelite coke bezel unidirectional (proper for diving) ratchets 120 clicks. Cyclops date (rare for this year divers). Original stain finish with only normal swirlies for age. Near perfect timekeeping. Excellent to near mint Swiss made movement. Solid stainless steel case. 41mm without crown. Near mint dial w/crosshairs and all desirable designations (Oceanographer, Snorkel and 666 ft.). Excellent hands. Comes on DiModell perforated rallye strap with contrast stitch. This is sometimes referred to as the Vietnam era PX (post exchange) model as many GI’s purchased them on base. Original unframed 1969 magazine ad is included. **No scratches or scuffs to crystal – new plexi – reflections only. Serviced last month with documentation and the watch tested water-resistant to rated 666 ft. (which means all gaskets, seals and crystal are perfect) which is unheard of for 1969 200M diver!
Nice 41mm (w/o crown) size, quite sizable for late 60s. Also, shape is classic late 60s/early 70s hooded style curved to wrist with coin edge bezel. Probably the most comfortable watch I have.

Price is $535 shipped and insured CONUS. Sorry, no international sales on this one. Also, see my other sales post for 1970 model that s priced significantly lower due only to condition of hands.
