Seiko Prospex Marinemaster Professional 300m SBDX001

Don't buy new and instantly lose 25% of its value the second you put it on your wrist. A new one costs $2238 and rising. However, no one will pay you $2238 once you've opened the box. See new price here: http://www.c-watch.co.jp/ww/s06a.html

A pre-owned MM300 doesn't lose its resale value because of several factors: its highly sought-after status, the weak Dollar and strong Yen, the initial depreciation absorbed by the original purchaser.

Assuming you are patient and can monitor this Private Sales area 24/7, you can probably catch a MM300 in decent condition for $1500 to $1600 but it's usually gone within minutes. You then decided to send it to IWW for regulation, sapphire crystal, and bead blasting work. That's $250. Direct quote from Jack (regulation $25, sapphire $95, bead blasting LNIB case and bracelet $75, case and bracelet prep work if not LNIB $?, insured shipping both ways $52, handling fee $?). Best case scenario $1500 + $250. Worst case $1600 + $250. You can email Jack ([email protected]) for a quote. The workmanship is fantastic. You need to hold it to appreciate it.

Condition: 95% (TZ Scale)

Your final grail. This is the highly sought-after Marinemaster 300m (aka MM300). I enjoy watch photography. Bought it for a couple of photo shoots and never wore it outside the house. It's now getting no wrist time, so out it goes. Case and bracelet professionally bead blasted by Jack at IWW (Industrial Watch Works), creating a more durable satin finish. IWW also installed domed sapphire crystal with AR and performed movement regulation. Keeps excellent time. Mechanically perfect. No defects. Sapphire crystal is perfect. Other than some minor wear shown on the photos (small nick on case near the crown, desk-diving marks on clasp, light swirlies on bezel), it is in 95% TZ scale as stated.

Watch comes with all removed links, pins, collars, JDM boxes, manual, and warranty card. Original MM strap is also included.

Bonuses: (1) New Bond NATO strap and (1) Black Nylon strap with white stitching
