I just made a UK label, and my postage provider (stamps.com) was asking me to enter my vat id#. It had multiple reminders that i may need to file for vat (had options to bypass such reminder). I read their link to the uk site and from what I understand, it clearly states that if you expect to do over eighty-five-Gs£ you MUST register. So i took is as “if its below eighty-five you do not have to”.

I can let you know if the package goes through normally (i skipped the vat id part) in a couple of weeks. I’m mailing it out tomorrow.
