Up for considerdation is a nicely modified Seiko diver 6309-7040.
This is a Hybrid Quartz conversion using a Seiko 7548a 5 jewel movement.
This watch is from my own collection and was contructed approx 6 months ago.
Here are a few particulars associated with this watch:
Case: original case has been properly refinished back to OEM spec...ie the topside surfaces have been rebrushed and the polished surfaces hand cleaned. The caselines are crisp and straight.
Bezel: rotates and clicks as it should. Insert is new aftermarket
Crown: takes 2 1/2 full turns to close
Caseback: Sterilized and machined with a texture
Crystal is a new Swedefreak 6105 double dome
Gaskets: all gaskets are new, ie...caseback, crown, crystal and bezel gaskets were replaced at the time of build
Movt: 7548a quartz high torque 5 jewel movement has been fully serviced and runs accurately.
Dial and hands: Military Dial is from Noah Fuller and long since discontinued, the hands are current production from Jake @ Dagaz
Watch will ship with a set of fat springbars and a Maratac black nato strap
