FS: Seiko 6309 Diver H.O.T.'09 by Benson - LOW Price - $450

This is a Hands of Time 6309, aka H.O.T. '09, made by Randall Benson. His watch work is excellent. These are very rarely seen, especially of late, and are true vintage gems. This particular watch got the full treatment, and cost $850 when newly made. The Seiko 6309 movement has been completely stripped down, cleaned up, replaced where needed, lubricated, inspected, and regulated. He does the same for each case part, and gasket. In this particular watch, he replaced the original hardlex crystal with a sapphire version, beadblasted the entire case, replaced the bezel insert with a custom one, and put a quality replacement MOD dial, white on black date wheel, and orange-framed sword handset on it. The lume is hand applied by Randall, and is nuclear. It is on a new matching safety orange nylon strap. The watch is still keeping extremely accurate time and is water resistant to 150M. It is not dead mint- as it does have a light scuffs here and there and the back has several scuffs on the sterilized caseback cover.
