FS: Seiko 6309-7040 from 1984 with One Year Warranty from IWW $250 Shipped
Hi, for sale is my Seiko 6309-7040 from Dec. of 1984. This is the classic cushioned case diver that defined dive watches for decades. This piece is 45 mm across and has 22 mm lugs. I just got the watch back from Jack Alexyon at IWW where the movement was completely overhauled, new stem and seals. The watch was totally cleaned up and pressure tested and it's good to go! It's keeping excellent time. <br>
This particular piece has the English/Spanish day wheel. The crown has a buttery smooth screw down and locks down nice and tight. <br> The watch is all original as far as I can tell. It has a lovely patina on the dial and hands. Nice clean crystal with no noticeable marks. Bezel turns and clicks as it should. I would rate it a conservative 90% by the TZ scale (But only based on the scratches and marks. Mechanically, it's perfect). <br> I am including a very cool and rare OEM Seiko bezel protector. It's the black guard you see in some of the photos. The cool part is that you can wear the watch with the guard on it you want.
