Up for sale is my beautiful, original Seiko 6306-7001 dating to 1979.
I bought this watch originally via a forum regular. It is an all original example with a domed sapphire fitted (with internal A/R coated) at present, but the original flat crystal is included in this sale.
This watch has very little signs of the normal wear associated with a 31 year old watch.
-The case has some tiny marks but nothing of any real significance.
-The crown screws down butter smooth with 2.5 full 360 degree turns.
-The bezel clicks like it did when new (in both directions) with no play.
-The internal surface of the case back has no pitting.
-The dial still has it's deep red "water resist" lettering, with a lovely light patina to the original lume on the hands and hour markers.
-The original bezel insert is in fine condition and sits plumb at "12".
-No fading on the English/Kanji day wheel or date wheel.
-Very light wabi on the stem of the minute hand. I guess I'm being a little fussy.
-The case back still has the factory matt finish to the motif background.
-Timekeeping is excellent although service history is unknown. The movement is very clean.
All new Seiko gaskets via Luka San have been fitted (and that includes the case back, bezel, crystal and crown). It has been pressure tested to 150m.

There appears to be a ding on the edge of the case in the photo below. It is just a reflection.
