For sale is a Seiko 6105-8110 from 1973. Movement fully serviced, all gaskets and crystal replaced. The dial and caseback are originals but taken from other watches (back is from a 1975 watch). Dial has been cleaned and relumed, but some wear and marks remain visible (see pics). Seems to run well, but I haven't worn it much. Case has been polished a bit, but retains some of the original factory finish. The bezel insert looks to have been replaced at some point. Bezel clicks correctly and there is enough of the original locking post for crown to lock. Numerous scratches, dings, former owner's initials and other accumulated wear (including names on underside of caseback - obviously not visible when watch is assembled). Please study the pictures so that you know what you are getting. This is a hard one to rate on the TZ scale since the movement has been overhauled, all parts (save insert) are original Seiko parts, but dial and caseback are from other 6105s, and there are small nicks and dings in the case. Maybe TZ 80-85%? This is definitely a watch for someone who appreciates a little wabi. Still a great-looking watch despite the years. $450 via Paypal or bank check. pcrow [at] riorojo [dot} com
