For sale is a Seiko 6105-8110 from 1973. Movement fully serviced (taken apart, all parts cleaned, reassembled and lubed), all gaskets and crystal replaced. The dial and caseback are originals but taken from other 6105s (back is from a 1975 watch). Dial has been cleaned and relumed, but some wear and marks remain visible (see pics). Runs well; movement hacks. The bezel insert looks to have been replaced at some point. Bezel clicks correctly and crown locks. Numerous small scratches, dings, former owner's initials and other accumulated wear (including names on underside of caseback - obviously not visible when watch is assembled). Please study the pictures so that you know what you are getting. This is a hard one to rate on the TZ scale since all parts (save insert and strap) are original Seiko parts, but dial and caseback are from other 6105s, and there are small nicks and dings in the case. Maybe TZ 80-85%? This is definitely a watch for someone who appreciates a little wabi, or who wants to install an aftermarket dial. Still a great-looking watch despite the years. $415 via Paypal or bank check. pcrow [at] riorojo [dot} com
