SOLD:$399 Gruen Precision 1500 Feet diver aka Poorman's Zodiac Super Sea Wolf $399..
This is an uncommon all original 1970's massive 43x50 mm stainless steel 1500 feet GRUEN PRECISION autowind vintage dive watch with a vibrant bright white dial. Looks almost like brand new.This case was used on the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms,Juvenia, Royce, Edox, Luxor dive watches (among others) from the same era. The steel case is very robust, with screw-down winding crown and unidirectional perspex bezel, and is 15 mm thick including the scratch free mineral glass crystal. Rarely offered and never in this good of condition. Original finish on the case with just a few very minor scratches from careful wear. Crystal is scratch free. Watch winds, sets, and runs just fine. Keeps very good time, but service history is unknown. I haven't opened this watch, but the movement is a Swiss made Gruen 730 SS Autowind. Comes on a brand new black Tropic style strap.
