Seiko 6309-7040,Dec 1985 production date, i.e. serial 4D1247 completely serviced, re-lumed, pressure tested.
New flat AR inside sapphire crystal. Replaced the original often scratched mineral crystal.
NOTE: Looks to be an almost perfect aftermarket dial (fonts correct and spaced correctly) other than I just noticed the (non-beveled day/date window) with a 10 power loupe. I forum member pointed this out to me.
Re-lume is one of the best I’ve ever seen Grade A C3, glows all night for those who wear a watch 24/7. No overlap on dial indices all lume material is within the edges of the indices, very well done.
Slight ding that was on the case 10 o’clock beveled edge has been expertly buffed down so it cannot be seen.
Some scratches (not case opener tool slippage commonly seen that mars the case back slots for the tool)
The only reason I’m selling this classic is I just ordered a MKII watch.
Completed with service paperwork. Flat vent rubber Seiko dive strap (not a GL-831) Correct 2.5mm diver ISO rated SEIKO springbars
