CONUS ONLY, PAYPAL ONLY

My Sellers write up from February of this year... See below.
Seiko Sportsmatic was first introduced by Suwa Seikosha in 1961, as a sportier alternative to the Seikomatic, and was produced throughout the 1960s. Among the many variants was the Sportmatic Calendar 820, powered by the automatic Cal. 7625, a robust and reliable workhorse in its days.

On offer is a New Old Stock 7625-1980, believed to be from the first production year of Cal. 7625 (1964) when the 7-digit serial number was engraved inside of the caseback. Due to the timepiece being NOS, and never opened, I will not be risking putting a mark on this pristine piece.

The design is simply timeless, and Seiko must have agreed, as it is the exact case and dial design used for the highly elusive 4S24-0070 Diashock 21 Jewels released in 1997. Please Google for images of the 4S24-0070. Note also the signed crown, which is not all that common for vintage Seiko.

SPECIFICATIONS

MOVEMENT: Automatic Cal. 7625, 17 Jewels, Date (Semi-QuickSet)
CASE: Stainless steel (diameter: 37 mm w/o crown, lug-width: 19 mm), crown signed S
DIAL: Silver with polished steel indices and hands
CRYSTAL: Acrylic
MANUFACTURED: In Japan, approx. 1964 (serial number on the inside of case back)

STRAPS: Genuine leather, crocodile grain (brand new, unworn)

This 45 years old Seiko Sportsmatic is ALL ORIGINAL. The CASE and CRYSTAL are perfect. The etching on the case back are perfect and untouched, and very hard to find in this condition, as they wear out quicker than later engraved case back. The DIAL is near-perfect, with only a very slight discoloration near the 5 oclock markvery hard to see with the naked eye. The MOVEMENT ticks as soon as you pick it up, and keeps good time. The crown has a nice, precise action, as youd expect from a new watch.
