Happened upon a mis-titled ad the other night, but the pic was clearly a 6309-7049. He was asking $50, I offered $40...which he was happy to take. :D looks like an all original survival, running really well, loose bezel but clickball is present, crown screws down smooth with full thread action. Can't wait to tear down and clean this one up!

I wrapped tape around a small sanding drum drill bit so it formed a tight fit in the stripped down case. Then I just held a sanding sponge against it as I spun the drill. Gives nice even factory looking brush marks.

All done! Really loving this combo!

Restoration complete. New repro bezel insert, high dome "bubble boy" crystal, and vintage inspired beads of rice bracelet.
