No work today and cycling off the agenda after sunstroke yesterday:)

A bit of quiet fettling in order in the cool of the office.

First I had wanted to try a non AR coated sapphire crystal in the TST to loose some of the hazy blue hue you get in certain light.

And put the AR coated sapphire crystal in the 7548 hoping to bring more of the 700B blue out! At the same time as I now don't own a Pepsi variant in my other Seiko I decided to add a baked and bleached insert to put this back to its 7548-700B colours.

Quite happy with how they all came out so sticking with these options for now.

P.s. John - I made use of one of my spare screws already. My heavy handed fault!

Happy Fridays :)

Yes … fully agree nice afternoons work
I just love the insert on the 7548, very partial to the 7548s
Now you have me thinking I have to send John a case to TST for me ... LOL
thanks a lot ...

I know... I had to go recce the Tour De France route that passes by 30ish miles from here. Just happened to be the hottest day this year and underestimated the strength of the sun. I take my hat off to the pros - how they manage to race 200k in such conditions. Back out there again for TdF stage 3 on Monday. Can't wait...
