I love these old Seiko watches from the 1980's. The only problem, is a lot of the needed parts to keep them running are drying up and it's cost prohibitive to buy a donor watch, with the surging prices today and the uncertainty if it has the good parts you need.

nice article - thanks for sharing. And this won't help do anything to help keep the prices low on these iconic watches. :cry:

I always liked the H-series.

Cool article, thanks for sharing. As a teen in the 80's Swatches and a calculator watch were the epitome of the teen watch realm. Neat to look back at the Seiko Bond watch!

Thanks for the reminder. I'll have to dig mine out - I suspect it will need a new battery.
