Looks like a 7009 in original condition wit it's original bracelet. Nothing fake about it. That said, it's not particularly rare or valuable. seeing that it is in need of a tocuh up, I'd value it at no more than $50.
ok, good to know, as I had already paid 30$ shipped for it. I should have done a little research first, but I thought only the luxury watches were faked. Just started collecting these vintage watches, and I love it. So far this has been my most expensive purchase. Thanks again.

Hi,
I have a very similar 7S26 Seiko 5. Almost identical, actually:

These Seiko 5's have a nice lume on the dial and hands:

And in total dark you get this:

Seiko didn't change much between these 7009 Seiko 5's and the 7S26 ones: the movement and the case back.
Cheers,

Not fake at all. I have the same watch.

There's many of these floating around. Mine is a 7009. I know of at least two other members that have a 7s26 variant of this watch and if I remember correctly Gabe(I think it was Gabe) has a 6309 variant.

Cheers!
Mike

I can only second that! It's a disease. Run away, if you still can.
Your watch is crap, crap, crap,...
Everybody will screw you anyway...
Think of your wife/partner...
Your colleagues spending 10 and more times your watch-budget on cars, gambling, whoring,.. will call you crazy!

Cheers,

Axel
yeah, I have figured it out already 100$ in 3 days... Can anyone give a close date. The seller said the 70's. Another person that looked at it says from the 90's.

Thanks
