Just in case I created any confusion here is a summary:

Crown at 0 position - operates the inner 24 Hour Bezel
Crown pulled out to 1 position - changes the Date
Crown pulled out to 2 position - Hacks and Sets the Time

Yes, the Seiko SARN models with the 4S-36 movement had a true GMT, independently adjustable hand. Then there's the Credor models, like the Node series with the 4S-76 movement and the Pacifique series or the Phoenix series with the 4S-77 movement, all true GMTs.
