I've been sick and in bed for the past week and going stir crazy. Of course, I pushed myself to the edge of what I should be doing(well now I'm paying dearly). After Saturday's excursion and eventual score of a coveted 7005-8052(hopefully I can take pics between naps today 
), I decided to push myself again yesterday. The wife and I hit another local flea market, kinda good idea/bad idea thing. Bad idea, because when we got home in the early afternoon, I crashed. Good idea because I scored yet again. At one guy's stand he was selling baggies of junk jewelery, and trust me when I say "junk" I'm being kind! At any rate, he had a baggie full of about ten "broken" watches. He wanted $5.00 for it. I was inclined to pass and set the bag down. He quickly said gimme $2.00 and they're yours. I did. After I got home and rested, I decided to take a look and see just what kind of crap I bought. I dumped the bag on the table and was pleasantly surprised. 4 out of the 10 were in running order > > . Now mind you 3 out of the 4 were older Timex handwinders(I still have a soft spot for these) One of them was a Seiko Automatic! That one ran briefly and would stop. When I shook it up it became apparent what the problem was. The rotor was not attached. I cracked the case, re-attached the rotor, shook it up a bit and it's running.....accurately, I might add. The case and crystal need some cleaning(I may actually have a replacement crystal in my parts bin for it), but the movement is pristine! It's a weird one from the '70's that you hardly ever see. It's a gray dialed 7025-8069. I'll try and take some pics later today if I'm feeling better. Oh, yeah, before I forget, my suspicions about the 7005-8052 were correct. This thing appears as though it was never touched.
