Hi all

Just got the Seiko bug! I seem a bit stuck on Lord Matics, for some reason.

Is there anyone who does dial refinishing on Seiko dials? I'm based in the UK, and find it easy to get dial refinishing done here, but the main expertise is in Swiss brands, so I was wondering if there are any companies who specialise in Seiko. Happy to send away; have used US companies for Swiss stuff in the past.

Many thanks in advance, folks!

Here's a range - I'm getting a black TAG Heuer dial re done in the Philippines and apparently its costing me $10 US.
I had a Rolex dial re done for a customer in Sydney and it was $160 AUS + post.

I doubt anyone anywhere specialises in Seiko dials.

Hi Paul

Thanks for your reply. I was looking for contacts to get them re-done, to be honest. Most European dial companies don't handle/have the dies for Seikos, hence my question. Not to mention that the European guys are too expensive for most Seikos, as well. I appreciate that 'no one specialises in Seiko dials,' but Fleabay is awash with Far Eastern re-finished dials of all sorts, Seiko included, yet I can't find any links online to any Far Eastern companies.

I'd love to have links to the guys you use, if you want to share them, PM is fine if you prefer. I have a guy here in the UK that does superb Swiss stuff, and I think his prices are a bit better than the Rolex dial you mentioned. I'm happy to share that contact if it helps you.

Many thanks in advance,

Michael

Hi Michael.
I use Smith and Smith in Sydney. Very reputable.
jfm_watches - an ebay seller. I've not heard from him about the dial yet though....

Paul :)
