One of the reasons I like the 7002 diver more than the SKX series is the brushed aluminum date wheel. It just looks so much better than painted plastic, IMO. Over the last years I've been surprised to see cheap, off-the-shelf date wheels on ETA-powered watches costing over $1K (I appreciate Limes, Titoni and others for taking the time to use better date wheels), and I admit that a cheap-looking day/date has been a factor in flipping a watch more than once, although sometimes it doesn't matter as much to me, as with some of the funky '70s Seiko sport divers (the printed plastic somehow looks appropriate...). Anyone else here appreciate a good date (and or day) wheel(s)?
