Hello all,

Haven't been around much because I'm spending time on the watch bench,
time with my kids, and trying to get some work done on the house.

Here's one of my latest project watches.

Base watch: Seiko SKX007J
Parts used and work completed:
-Reshape case. Brush finish top, polish sides.
-Sterilized case back.
-Stainless steel rotating ring with rough brushed finish.
-Yobokies dial relumed with NoctiLumina G15F.
-Sword hour and minute hand, painted white and lumed with NoctiLumina G15F.
-Stick-n-ball sweep, painted orange and lumed with NoctiLumina B17F.
-Aluminum chapter ring.
-AR sapphire crystal.

The real focus on this watch is the reshaped case. Those who have seen it said
it reminded them of those big old military watches.

Enjoy the pics.

All the best,
Bob

Bob...can you describe what you did to reshape the case? It looks like you defined the lugs a little bit.

Nice work. I've contemplated reshaping a case as well but haven't attempted it yet.

You really slimmed it down quite a bit.
