Looking a coil for a Seiko 4004 Quartz, cal. 4633A

Seiko Part no. 4002 005

Anybody know where I can get one?

ALSO:

Is there a later or interchangeable coil? Meaning a different and more easily sourced part number that would work?

Thanks in advance ~

A want to buy on the Trade forum is the the usual first port of call, but if you remove the space between the part numbers - you'll have more luck on google. The coil is only used on SEK 4622A SEK 4623A SEK 4633A
Is the coil damage something which may by rescued by Grobet Circuit Mender? Have used with remarkable success on "obsolete" coils. Regards, BG

I've never heard of this, but have a couple of bum quartz movements I wouldn't mind trying this on. What is a Grobet Circuit Mender?
Most of the supply houses have it...search for circuit mender, circuit maker and your should find it. Jules Borel number is CE890...and shows to be a Vigor product...on the bottle it says Permatex. Expensive...works (usually) and lasts a long time if you keep it thinned. Regards, BG
