I picked up a couple of late 1990's Citizen Promaster Air Divers when in Japan recently.

The white one is the PMQ56-2151 and this example is from 1995.

The black version is the PMQ5-2043 from 1999.

Both share the same Ti case design that wears nicely on the wrist as you would expect.

The antimag rating is a little unusual for a basic diver but it does seem that this was a feature that Citizen was pushing at that time.

These were never very high end watches with the list price of 28,000 yen but today there does not seem to be too much demand for this type of Promasters and I paid on average under $100 for each.

Very nice indeed, and at a bargain price. I guess being of Ti construction, that they had to add a soft Iron cover to meet the anti-magnetic rating for diver's, so I guess it makes sense. ISO6425 test standard is 4,800 A/m.
