Battery clip/disassembly photo.....

In this picture, (awesome shot btw), there's a spring battery clip (the diamond shaped part) that clips in to hold the battery in place. While changing my battery, I was trying to get the clip back in and it "sprung" off my desk to parts unknown. Google searches have been fruitless--or I'm not sure of the right terminology perhaps.

Bottom line? I need to order up a new one (or 3). Anyone have any good sources for that particular piece? The watch is a Original Blue Angels Navihawk...but I suspect the part is pretty universal for the movements....

Thank you!

esplinger.com seems to have them (C300) but I don't think the LCD, etc is included. All I'm looking for is the Battery "strap" any ideas where I can find one or several online ?? I haven't tried a local jeweler... but may wind up there. Thanks!

Probably a good idea, but it's a really basic item.. in this thread, if you back up a few posts, you'll see a nice clear shot of a C300 movement.. with the Diamond shaped battery clip/strap in place. I just need One of those. I'd think they'd be easy to deal with, but apparently not.... :)

jringo... I can't post links/pix yet, so if you would, scroll up to Sir Alan's picture above our posts. It's a rather large picture of a C300 movement. He's indicated the screws and points in order to remove the movement, but I would direct your attention to the battery and the diamond shaped strap/clip that is in the lower left of the movement. I'm attempting to find that diamond shaped piece online and not having much luck.

I do suspect a Citizen jeweler would have one perhaps, or I can certainly send the watch in for regular repairs, but that seems silly just for a small clip like that.

Thank you!

got it.. thank you John! I work not far from a mall, and I know at least a couple of jewelers in there carry Citizen/seiko and others. I'll stop by during lunch or something.

I've looked and looked for the original--it just sprung away when I was tucking one tip into the movement and it's gone. I tried a magnet, vacuuming the floor, etc. and nothing--like it just disappeared into thin air :)

Thanks again!
