I purchased this diver last week it was sold with a few issues, the crown or case threads were stripped and I assumed it will have a few other problems. The dial looked really good and the watch was original.
When it got to me on inspection it was the crown threads stripped, I replaced it with a spare from my stash, the only other issue was the date wheel would not advance. Removed the dial and replaced one of the clutch mechanisms for the date advance and fixed the issue.
Gave the case and other parts a bath in the ultrasonic, new seals, crystal and bezel insert and here is the result.
