Citizen has presented to media at the 2007 Basel World Watch a newmodel radio controlled: the Citizen AS 4065-54L Radio controlled ChronoLimited Edition.
As for the line that preceded it, it is equipped with the Eco-drivetechnology too that can avoid the periodic replacement of the batteryand simultaneously have the precision guaranteed by the quartz.

Accuracy also been caused by regular automatic reception function thatsets the time and date automatically receiving radio waves to set hoursof the night.

This new Citizen comes in a version with case & bracelet intitanium, extremely light and handy, while remaining faithful to thestrength characteristics typical of each product "Made in Citizen".

With sapphire can withstand impacts and abrasion without damage.
To note the weight of the watch (only 117.50 grams) with a diameter of 45 mm case.
AS 4065-54L Citizen is a multifunctional DOC, with fewer than 6 modesof operation: time, chronograph, local time, reference position, alarmand perpetual calendar and thanks to it automatically changes the year,month, date and day until 28 February 2100.
It uses an internal storage battery to accumulate electricity.
Once fully loaded will continue to keep time for about 6 months duringthe normal use they can maintain the correct time for about 1 year whenthe saving function is activated.
The water resistance is guaranteed up to 20 bar could extend a use forthe practice of water sports area and free diving without breathingapparatus.
Distribution is limited to one thousand pieces for the European market:an exclusive watch and then reduced in number to give to it theimportance it deserves.

The dial very large maximize the ability to auto-recharge and auto-receive of the reference signal.
This is an important factor because in Italy the signal arrives veryshielded and the other radio controlled have difficulty to recive theCitizen signal.
The case and bracelet are made with 3 different types of titanium(brushed, polished and Ion Plating) with superficial hardening TitatiumCarbide Coating to further increase wear resistance.
The sapphire crystal is treated with sintering self-reflecting on both sides.
It comes from the japanese modela PMP56-2941 and PMP56-2942.

Out of japan there is only the blue version in 1.000 copies worldwide.
The differences about the japanese verion and the european version are:
the write "limited edition" on the back.
"made in japan" is not present on the front.
radio controlled function works in USA, europe and asia.
the japan version works only in japan.
the limited edition has the glass in sapphire.
