Hi everybody!

I was just checking out the new 9015 and I can't see any shock absorption on the balance wheel jewel:

Does this seem right to you?

Is there some kind of unusual shock absorption system there I'm just not seeing?

If there is none, maybe not an issue for The citizen but certainly not ideal for the Benarus Remora.

Hi Jason,
It's there, it is Citizen's "Parashock" shock-resistant balance jewel setting. They have used this in some form or another for decades, here is a photo lifted from the internet of the two jewels out of their settng:

Thanks very much.

I figured there must be something but I'm so used to seeing diashock and incabloc I couldn't for the life of me recognise what was right in front of my nose.

Cheers mate.
