I went into a messy repair lab, the guy fixes calculators and other Casio products. Oh yes, and watches I look at the counter, ond on it - a DW8300 NOS case, lying around like a piece of junk. one minute later it's mine, after paying the equivalent of a 5600 strap and bezel [img] He didn't have a 1288 module or 8300 strap so I will have to get these elsewhere. Enough talking: That's the NOS case as I got it, a former dust collector [img] Two back plate screws are missing, not a deal breaker [img] [img] Opened up, it looks virgin [img] No gasket? That's not good... [img] I didn't have a 1288 module, so in the meantime I'll put a 1000 mudule I have (Led light, no EL, but it has DT) [img] I managed to get gaskets and and an OEM strap (20mm lugs, cool) [img] Closed back, After some brushing and silicon [img] With strap [img] On the wrist, and with those strap "wings", this thing is a monster [img] It's a beauty, I just don't see how can I leave the house with this on my hand, looks a bit like the real version of a cartoon watch [img] That's that, thanks for looking Galpo [/t][/c][/t] [table][tr][td] [img]http://forums.watchuseek.com/images/statusicon/user_offline.gif [/t]
