I'll call that a Japina (Japan + China) Seiko. :))

It is pretty common nowadays. Some of the Japanese brand tools I sell are made in China, the whole thing.

We have the exact same situation with watches labeled "Swiss Made" that we have with those labeled "Made in Japan". You can't tell from the label that parts are produced offshore. The swiss have at least identified the percentage of content needed before that country of origin label can be used. Does anyone know what the percentage cutoff is for japanese watches and what the exclusions are?
