Hi, All:
I finally pulled the trigger on a watch I've been eyeballing for a few years now. Every time I was going to buy one, I'd buy something else instead. Finally, I've now bought an allegedly-running Citizen 8110 bullhead chrono off of eBay.
My question is, as the finish on the case is coming off quite nicely . . . is it possible to repaint the case? If so, what kind of paint? And how is it best applied?
If repainting won't work, because it'll just scratch right off again, then I may go the route of sanding and polishing the case out. Although, for some reason, I kind of like the ultra-70s brown on gold look of this watch. It'll certainly stand out in my collection.
Thanks in advance for any advice/comments.
