Congrats Neil, that is a beautiful watch. The MM looks perfect next to the Tuna.

Cheers!
Fantabulous!

That watch looks terrific, in a James Bond kind of way. I can easily see Mr. Double O 7 switching a SM for this. And it would even be more exclusive.

Neil, it's not just the password. There's also some hazing required... :))

Congratulations!!

I have really been on the fence about the MM for some time - really wanting it but not buying first and foremost because of the price, but since landing a 7549 vintage Tuna I haven't been able to decide if I still want the MM. Once the novelty of the MM has worn off, and you settle in to a routine with it, I would be very interested to hear your views on the MM versus your Tuna - specifically I would appreciate hearing, in your opinion, how the MM differentiates itself from the Tuna. Thanks in advance, enjoy the feeling of owning something so fine!
:) Jeff,Thank you good Sir,Please may i have Another!!!
Love it(The Humour of course!!.)The MM aint so bad either.Must try it on the Strap also. ;)

Im not so sure Mr Bond would relinquish his Swiss Luciano.Although it would be nice for him to get a Seiko back on his wrist. Thanks for the reply my friend.Much appreciated.

Thanks Harry,i was also another not sure of the MM Due to having seen one in the flesh not long back belonging to Peter Boggiano. My thoughts were even then too small for me as i was wearing my Orient Star 300 at the time.I suppose it was really just pressure to own one and scratch it from my list of grails but be able to say yep i have a MM.The size is still an issue after wearing it today because its not much bigger than say a 007,yet glance down to check it on the wrist and theres just a world of aesthetic difference to the MM than any watch ive worn before,it just Oozes quality for such an average size watch.Im going to wear it for a week or so before i rotate it and hopefully i will have grown to love it even more than i do now.Still love the 300 Tuna though Harry. The SBBN007 Also takes some beating.

If you don't take into consideration the brand and merchandising, I can't see why a MM300 would not play the part: a stylish and refined dress diver that can be worn with a tux or diving in the Bahamas.
The password is "MOOLA". If you don't havethe password, seiko will send you one of the following alternate ones:

  • PBJ;
    Pastaandbutter; or
    whiterice.
It usually takes a couple of months of using an alternate password daily before you are finally accepeted into the club. :D
Congratulations, Neil!

I'm one of the few - like you - that regards the OS 300m as much as the MM 300m. Also, the fact of owning both contributes to my opinion, quality wise. Movements differences aside, the case quality, dial, hands, bezel on both watches match, IMHO.

I highly regard both. My WIS mission would not be complete without them. :D

Cheers and enjoy this bad boy in good health, my friend!
Regards,
CHRIS
I always thought the password was

Chris Moy.

I have always said the MM can go head to head proudly with anything in its ( and slightly above )
its price range.

Congrats Neilo! Sweeeeett! I know what a watch finatic you are from reading your posts over the last year or so since i've been collecting. It's funny how eventhough we have never spoken directly, even in this cyberspace, i'm still happy for you as though we are old friends. :) The power of the hobby is quite cool! Wear it well and be sure to get some shots of it in action while out to dinner and such. :)
The PW
is Wouhou! Whatawatch!
The more you wear it the more you like it. I know I do
Congrats dude!
:)
Congrats my friend and welcome to the " Marine Master Club" 8)
