Should be interesting. 16bps! I wonder how they do that with any resemblence of battery life.

18 models sounds like they are serious. Hopefully they aren't all ginormous and full of testosterone.

I have been told by my AD around Sept-Oct for the release date. I am already on the waiting list for a new Bulova Precisionist as this will be my next watch.

I am not so much after the looks but rather the movement itself.

There are quite few people curious about that movement.
The high frequency is not the crux; the three-prong crystal shape instead of themo-compensation is.

It seems rather ambitious to launch such a new type of movement in 18 models.

It should be VERY interesting.
Finally something new in HEQ design.

I was told $4,000 for the limited edition Accutron re-issue.

Not only that, but truly affordable. I am not longer lusting after a $2000+ JDM Citizen Chronomaster. :-*

Agreed. Prices go from $300 to about $1,000. There will be chronographs offered as well. I am going after the basic models. Yummy watch. I think this thing is going to put Bulova back in the map.

...which would not bé accutron ???

At that price it had better be real good too because you are into l.e. Grand Seiko heq with 5 secs/year territory then.
Also the réal accutron even in solid 18k is a lot more economic to buy.

I really liked the one with the numbers and the airplane at 6 until I saw the price :-\ :-\ :-\

On the shot of the back it looked like there was a moving rotor. Maybe these are a kinetic form of rechargable?

Sept/Oct is just in time for Christmas. Shoould be interesting...
