Myles,
This was created by [email protected]! I believe he had the dial custom made by a dial company, it is a dark blue. The case is the early quartz version of the 300M Tuna (7549-7010). It has been retrofitted with a 6309 automatic movement. The crown and tube were replaced and is 5 turns to total tight. It has a heavy duty crown gasket also. The shroud was satin bead blasted while the case is polished. It is an awesome piece and as far as I know a one of a kind. I have had it about 4 yrs.
Oh nice watch, blue tuna, automatic. Very sweet.
I love the tuna, automatic movement pairing is plain cool.
Heck at this point any tuna would be great as i'm incomplete without one.
One of these days. hehe. Gotta go fishing.
Just testing that I can post a pic on the new board - here is my auto tuna (same basic recipe; 7549 quartz - this one has a hacking 21 jewel 6306 movement)
