Totally weather dependant Andy, piddling down with rain and I shall be there but if the suns out I will be doing what ever my wife tells me I am doing :)
I will be there...

Banging on the door at 8am. :)

Up at 04:45 and out the door sharpish... The last trip down the motorway was like this!

I'll be either going by motorbike but if the weathers crap I'll be going with a friend who has a stall as it's a 300 mile round trip and I don't fancy getting soaked. Bonus is I'll be there at 5am :D
Tony

If you see any Seiko's with 300/600 on the dial or 6215/6159 on the back, grab them and put them aside for me please :97:

Well I'll be getting no bargains! Just found a whopping 6" nail through my rear tyre. Went to get some juice and I saw sparks flying as the nails hitting the swinging arm!!! Looks pretty but not much cop on a 300 mile trip. Cars engines out too as I was doing a few tweaks and adding a tubby :( Enjoy your bargains chaps!
Jeez didnt even know it was happening, wheres this advertised then guys?

Come on guys how did you get on?

Couldn't go today. Made arrangements to go diving, but over spent lately on watch purchases elsewhere. Please say you got some bargains!!
Didn't see much in the way of real bargains but it was good to catch up with JB and Barry.

John picked a bargain bag for a tenner which had a fully working seiko moonphase inside (jammy git)

I had this 6117 worldtime for 60 quid

There were a few 6139s there but most weren't resetting to zero and prices were too high when you built in servicing as well.

All in all a nice morning out - especially as it's only 30 mins from home!

Nice! Love my world timer. Glad John picked up a bargain too :)
A pleasant morning out and nice to see you guys.

The bargain bag worked out pretty well as a couple of the cheapy watches fired right up with a new battery and a couple of the kids had them and were happy :)

I got a A158-5050 that lit up with a new battery so that was a little result, the next one was a Citizen Chronograph Dual Time in really nice condition but this dident fire up with a new battery :( but I don't really know what the correct battery is, anyone ? ).

Finally the 7A48-5000, this was running and just needed the chrono sorting out, when i got it home i stripped it and cleaned it, this was one of the dirtiest watches i have touched in a while, inside the clasp there was about a 1/4 of a tea spoon of gunge and when i removed the bezel to change the crystal that was gunged up as well, on the plus side i think gunge does tend to protect watch surfaces :) bracelet had three links tucked into the clasp so well over size for me, new gaskets and running like a champ.

Cheers for the link tiger, trouble is nothing ever happens down here in the southwest
I'll be at the next one! bloody nails!!! My car will be back together next week when the turbo arrives and I stuff it on

Nice watches John. I have a couple of quartz chronos coming from a friend that was at the show so watch this space so to speak. Love that Citizen you got big time!

Oh I did buy this tonight :)

Enjoy your watches!
