Not exactly my birthday watch (it's from 1968), but if I don't find quickly a 5722GS or a 44KS from April 1965, this one will definitely fit the bill for my soon coming "big 50" :grin:
First impressions:
Everything has been said about this model to make it very desirable :ecomcity:... but YES, ALL is TRUE :72:
This is a beautiful piece of workmanship, and this one come in nice wabi-sabi condition (old 70ish bracelet was so stuck in the lug holes that I bet this is a "one-owner" piece).
I love the very plain dial, the smooth seconds hand, the big crown, the lovely medallion etc. AND the sharp case that give me the impression that it has never been polished (but I've never seen a NOS one in flesh)
I even love the small spot at 00h03m30s, that made this beautiful little machine affordable for me :wub:
