bezel spring for a rally diver ..

hello ..

can anyone please point me in the right direction, I need the spring that goes under the bezel of a 6119 rally diver, the one that keeps it from falling out.

Basically I managed to get the bezel off after a protracted fight but the spring was rusty and came out in 2 large bits + a teaspoon tip's worth of rust!

cheers!

Does the 6119 have a spring? Mine has a gasket whereas my 6106 Rally Diver has the spring.
With the 6106's some use a retention ring and some use an "O" ring. The bezels are different and match the case. I'm not sure about the 6119's use of a retention ring. I believe all of mine use the "O" ring.
Dave may I suggest a simple fix? If you can find a spare zigzag movement ring (its fitted inside the case) cut it with wire cutter & put it carefully inside the bezel put very little amount of silicon grease.......

Tell us if it worked.......
the watch is a 6119-7170 .. i do have a spare movement holder spring but I doubt it will fit ..

Under the bezel, does the case have a groove that a plastic ring fits into? Basically it's for the bezel to rotate on. All retention ring style rally cases use this plastic ring.

My version of that watch has a rubber o ring, not a spring.
