I picked up a few nice chronos and a couple of desirable divers this year, but the one that stands out for all round beauty and wearability in either a work or casual situation is the Panda.
It's not a perfect example but this is the one I can see myself keeping if my current fascination with chunky chronos and divers ever wains.
Wow, lot's of great purchases you guys have done this year. I've had to invest this year in other things, mainly my business (I'm a strength and conditioning specialist). I only scored one watch this year. It's a Bell-Matic 4006-7010 for which I had a nos dial waiting. Luckily Steve put up one for sale this month on the S&CWF. I've already taken out the movement and given the case a polish. It's at my watchmaker now for a full service. Here's a pic. before polishing:
When it's all cleaned up I'll post the result here.
Maybe 'cause it's the latest but I am most smitten by my new King Seiko Certified Chronometer 5626- KS in tip-top shape and running +7 sec/day without any regulation !
