Tough one.
If I use all my criteria for Orange, then my favorite right now is not a Japanese watch.

I think thats a sawtooth.
Seiko quartz diver 200m SHC059

Modded bezel insert?

Yes it's a Sawtooth. And yes it has a modded bezel.
It's a SHC059 with a bezel from a SHC063.
Seiko did sell this combination however (not sure where though but not North America) as SHC067.

But overall, it's this Doxa 1200T Pro or any Doxa with orange dial and black/white hands.
