Oh, and it has a non-notched case, a 6139B movement and a block-under 60 bezel (which I think might be real, just never seen on a supposedly 1969 PROOF watch...)

- sold on Thursday last week by a seller in California for $1550, and it appeared on Monday from a seller in New York. It's either the same seller who's playing a fast one, or it's a different seller who's trying to auction a watch he doesn't even have.

Here's another dodgy Silver Pogue from a well-known duffer, ayer-ala

Described as "Stunning Original" then

"Stunning refurbished silver seiko was last serviced 5 years.. refurbished at the same time ", conveniently forgetting to mention tha tthe dial and hands are not original.

Other than a ridiculous price the seller is deliberately obscuring the serial number. I might call him on it.
