I never liked the Seiko monster hands at least not both together
they are found originally on the:
SKX779 "Black Monster"
SKX781 "ORANGE MONSTER"

folks first started to see them all over the Seiko 5 sports divers, know as Mini Monsters with the Non-Screw down crown

and they now have been seen on some Orient watches now owned by Seiko like this popular now sold Orient 300m Poseidon Brazil Model

and these new starfish divers which I feel I could mod the hell out of, I like these ones and wish to get one soon....

I wonder is Seiko is trying to push these hand sets as their standard hand set like the SKX's have been for the last 30yrs ?

I'm with you, Mr. Fuller - I like Monster hands on Monsters. Keep 'em off everything else. They just barely work for me on the Monster. On anything else I can't help thinking another hand set would look better.

I don't mind them. I kinda like it when they line up for "Rocket Time". 8)

But, how is it out of hand? Poseidon, Starfish, what else are they on?

To me they are like the Plounger hands from the original Ploprof

they only belong on the watch they originally came with.

I'm no fan of the mosnster, I think they are hideous, so I might be on one end of the curve,
seeing them on other watches is kind of a deal breaker for me.
