Are Pandas going up in price ?

I was searching our favourite auction site and saw this 161459032430. Just could not believe the price.

I know it's the 8000 but does it justify the price ?

Saw that. Just another fantasy valuation IMO.

It's 2.5x what I paid for my white dialed 6138-8000, just a year or so ago, and mine has a clean dial.

I thought it was steep especially with the condition not being that great,yours is a nice example though.

Wow that's a lot of money! I paid about $230 for mine a while back which feels like a bit of a bargain now. Must sort out the chapter ring sometime!

They look great don't they. I recently bought one with a great case but Mr.Araldite has mated with the subdials and the new dial i bought as a replacement is garbage. So the hunt is on for another nice linen look dial.

Just to clarify - the watch on auction is the smaller 23j 6138-8000 'Baby Panda', not the 'big' 6138-8020 Panda.

Yes but is the price justified especially the condition is not the best. I did state it was the 8000.
